Incredibly special 1930s black silk chiffon slip dress made in a hard to find empire waist silhouette. Uniquely styled with a Grecian heavily gathered body that ties down to size with a pink drawstring ribbon for a perfect fit every time. The neckline is detailed with the most incredible three dimensional flowers constructed entirely by hand from long pieces of silk chiffon worked similarly to traditional Chinese pankou closures, a detail we have never seen before on lingerie from this era. Voluminous peaked puffed sleeves are the perfect finish to this dress. Labelled, "Wa-Vel's Chinatown San Francisco" with a unique bamboo style font silk label.
