Stunning early 20th century cadet blu indigo cotton calico wrapper dress. This dress is made from the most beautiful and perfectly worn in mid weight calico fabric in the most coveted soft indigo shade. Unusually styled with a high over the bust waistline with tons of gathering creating incredible drape and volume in the body, especially in the back, with Watteau-like gathers falling into an elegant train. Wears beautifully loose, or belted at the waist for a more fitted look. 

Excellent condition for the age of this piece! There are some small areas of brown marks in the skirt that get largely lost due to the extreme fullness and drape. Otherwise, there are some small rust marks at the neckline and a couple scattered light marks. The sleeves appear to have been shortened at some point. Presents beautifully and is strong and wearable.
