Stunning 1970s skirt made by Italian designer Umberto Ginocchietti in the style of Mariano Fortuny's Delphos pleats. Like the Venetian original, the softest silk has been tightly pleated to create an incredible and voluminous texture, and fabric that undulates with movement. Ginocchietti has made some wonderful changes to the style, by adding a hidden side zipper and buttons at the waist, and giving it a classic high waisted fit making it perfect for modern wear. An incredibly special and unique closet staple that pairs perfectly with an antique blouse or jacket.
