Stunning and unique 1950s dress by Mollie Parnis. Beautifully made with 2 layers of the garment- the golden silk organza houndstooth exterior, and a complementary soft gold silk lining throughout. The bodice is incredibly well tailored with a complex custom closure system at the front of the garment, with buttons that cover a metal zipper and hooks that are completely hidden when worn. Gorgeous dolman style with voluminous balloon sleeves. Comes with a matching leather lined belt. So so beautiful, with a wonderful intersection of texture, color and quality. 

Incredible near pristine condition. Appears never work. Only sign of age is some cracking and wear to the leather belt backing from the passage of time. Does not show when worn. Presents as mint.
