Special late 1940s inky black silk velvet princess coat with the most incredible heavily detailed cape collar. The collar is covered with soutache, beadwork and embroidery, and finished with ermine fur trim at the edge. This coat is exquisitely tailored, and fully lined in heavy black silk. Has hidden functional pockets and closes at the front with self covered buttons. 

Excellent condition. Minor wear to velvet.
