Absolutely otherworldly 1900s-1910s entirely handmade cotton Irish crochet duster jacket. This piece is frankly a work of wearable art: beautifully articulated throughout with three dimensional flowers and foliage connected by thousands upon thousands of carefully rendered crochet stitches. The styling of this particular example is unmatched with ladder cutout cold shoulders and side slits that give the hem of the jacket incredible movement and a unique silhouette. Soft and lightweight, the duster is easy and comfortable to wear, styling perfectly with everything from an elegant evening gown to a t-shirt and jeans. Would make for a fantastically unique bridal option as well. A truly remarkable one of a kind artifact- this garment would have taken hundreds if not thousands of hours to complete. Closes at the neckline with a hidden hook that attaches directly into the stitches of the crochet.

Incredible near pristine condition. One or two tiny breaks have been mended, but otherwise no flaws to note.
