Unreal 1930s silk wrap covered with incredible hand worked Chinese floral embroidery in a rich, moody color way. Exquisitely styled with dramatically wide split trumpet sleeves that drape luxuriously across the arms. Elegant wrap style that ties at the back waist for a perfect curve hugging fit every time. A very unusual piece that seamlessly speaks to both the sweet and sultry elements of 1930's fashion. Originally the garment would have been worn as a robe, but translates beautifully for modern wear as a wrap style gown. Truly exquisite and a must have for the serious collector of rare early loungewear.

Excellent condition. When found there was some slight wear and minor tearing at the nape of the neck and a tiny hole in the lower skirt both of which have been professionally repaired with matching antique silk and are now functionally invisible.  Presents as mint condition.
