Incredible 1930s rich cobalt jewel tone silk velvet gown with an incredibly unusual wrap style bodice. The details on this gown are unreal- large, heavily gathered inserts at the front and back skirt, a low plunging back, and of course the fantastic matching Art Deco dress clips and buckle, resplendently set with white and red paste stones. The bodice has two large "wings" draping off of either side each bearing one half of the buckle- they then wrap around the torso to clasp at the center front waist to create that incredible perfectly fitting wrap effect. Absolutely exquisite and a one of a kind relic of the Art Deco era. 

Excellent condition. One or two subtle rubs to the velvet, only noticeable upon very close inspection. Presents as mint.
