Remarkable 1970s cream silk blouse by Philippe Venet, most famous for being Hubert de Givenchy's romantic life partner, but an incredibly talented couturier in his own right. This piece has a lovely art deco sensibility with beautiful draping, puffed sleeves, zippers at both cuffs, and glass crystal buttons. Incredibly beautifully made with a grosgrain waist tape, fully lined in silk chiffon, and so many gorgeous hand sewn tailoring details visible from the inside. A stunning example.

Overall excellent condition with a subtle water mark on the sleeve that gets lost in the drape and one or two minor light marks around the shoulder. Presents beautifully.
