Absolutely stunning c1880s late Victorian 14k gold convertible brooch and pendant encrusted with pearls and turquoise stones. This remarkable example is beautifully crafted with an extremely high level of detail in the design. The main body of the pendant is set with seed pearls and small turquoise cabochons arranged in interlocking rings to represent everlasting love, with bright larger pearls dangling gracefully at the center and bottom. The piece is finished with both a traditional locking pin back and a swiveling loop to easily hang it from a chain or ribbon. This piece would also wear beautifully mounted on a velvet ribbon as a choker. So beautiful and versatile, and a one of a kind "something old, something blue".

Excellent condition. Chain mount and pin back are both in excellent working condition. Two seed pearls appear to be replacements.
