Unreal artisan handmade jacket by Sabine Miner of Philomath, Oregon. This jacket is masterfully crafted from handmade felted and spun wool, created with unique treatments of the natural wool fibers. The magenta yoke is unique with layers of rich pinks, creams, and blues felted together with curly tendrils of lamb's wool for added texture. The billowing sleeves are made from many layers of hand spun wool yarn that creates an incredibly voluminous effect with beautiful movement. Sabine Miner was a German born fiber artist who was an international world traveler, living in Ecuador, Norway, Germany and both the east and wests coasts of the United States throughout her life. She was a founding member of the Corvallis Weavers' Guild and created many one of a kind garments for the movie industry, notably for Star Trek/Next Generation. She passed in 2016, but her incredible works of wearable art live on and remain timelessly beautiful. This piece will easily become the most unique and inspiring garment in your wardrobe.
