1940s Fischer's Black Silk Plunge Gown [med/lrg]

Fabulous 1940s black silk gown by none other than Fischer's Heavenly Lingerie, one of the best manufacturers of lingerie in the early 20th century. Beautifully styled with a gathered sweetheart neckline, scooped waist, sexy plunge back and an unbelievably full skirt that drapes beautifully around the wearer. The body of the gown is made from a sumptuous silk georgette with a touch of sheerness, framed with gorgeous cotton lace. 

Excellent condition. We have put a few stitches in two pinholes in the skirt that get entirely lost in the fullness. Presents as mint.
