Quintessential 1930s art deco bias cut gown made from light as air lemon yellow floral rayon chiffon. This gown has it all: cold shoulder styling, plunging low cut back, endless ruffles, tiered fishtail at the back of the skirt, and even the original matching belt! Cut on the bias for a slinky, flattering fit. This piece feels incredibly modern for something that is nearly 100 years old; it is quite reminiscent Dior by John Galliano. The soft pastel slightly sheer fabric makes this a great dress up or dress down piece- wear it to your next garden party or gala! No side closure, but has a huge amount of bias give and goes on very easily overhead.

Excellent restored condition. When found, a small (about 3 inch) section of fabric was missing along the bottom hem (most likely from a caught heel) that we have carefully repaired with similar material and it is now completely invisible. Otherwise there a couple very small repaired snags in inconspicuous spots that are similarly completely invisible when worn. Presents as mint condition.

Measurements:
