An unbelievably beautiful 1930s French couture soft seafoam silk robe with voluminous bell sleeves that has been painstakingly quilted in its entirety. Beautiful Art Deco lines are reflected not only in the silhouette of the garment, but in the quilting patterns themselves, with scalloped edges and geometric motifs. Remarkably, its original sash is still present, which replicates these same beautiful quilting patterns as well. Fully lined, original couture label in the nape of the neck.

Excellent restored condition. When found the lining of this stunning robe showed some deterioration at the neckline and underarms, which has been carefully and expertly repaired with period correct silk and lace. There is one small area at the back of the neckline that shows some extremely subtle minor fade, but it gets totally lost in the lush sheen on the silk. Presents as mint.
